Chapter 3
The ramjet was now getting very close to the Hiigarans sun, the outer hull, and the main dish was starting to melt down. Suddenly the front dish started to simply deform, it just started to flow over the ship's hull like melt wax. The engine had failed at last a week ago, and the ship was plumaged into zero gravity, but the crew was all in stasis so no one was around to notice it, expect perhaps the computer aboard the ramjet. The sun was getting to be an obsolete size, it now enveloped nearly forty percent of the sky, and you could now see the solar cell, see the activity of the sun in rich detail… Suddenly with no warning an solar flare arched upward out of one of the massive black spot that was scattered over the sun's surface, and slowly made its way up into the sky, only to arch right over the ramjet as she continued her fall into the inferno. Shielding that was surrounding the ship to protect it from the high energy particle while it was cursing at near light speed begun to fail, the Ram scoop dish was now all bunt off, and the front segment of the hull was starting to shine brilliant white, and the hull further back gently glowed blood red. The computer recorded the increase in hull temperature as it patently waited for the temperature to extend the threshold that was programmed in. Aboard the ramjet were five ultra high yield antimatter bombs that nearly bankrupted the rebellion. It was to dentate once the ship's hull temperature extended a certain point; to make certain that the destruction of the ship was throughout as possible. Suddenly the ramjet exploded in an massive explosion, the five ultra high yield antimatter bombs utterly annihated the ship in an extremely massive explosion, there was not a single particle left of the ramjet.
Kraal opened his eye, and looked around the room that he was placed in. The first thing he noticed was that it wasn't aboard his ship because the design of the room was different, first, all of the wall and the ceiling appeared to be part of an massive screen that displayed bunch of from what he could tell, artwork. They were utterly alien to him, and perhaps photos of real place somewhere… but where he didn't know. Suddenly the energy drained out of Kraal and he rested his head back on the bed and dozed off.
After a few hour of nightmares about his past and what has happened, Kraal finally gave up trying to sleep and woke up only to notice 9 of his crewmember along the side of the bed, and one odd looking being that looked like an cat that was walking on its rear two feet. The first words out of Kraal mouth were "Who are you? And what are you?" The huge catlike creature responded in an raspy voice and the words was distorted bad "III'm Commandeeer Hyyystaa Kurrro. Tooo annsweer youur queestiion wee aree knooown as thee Draake." Kraal nodded then he asked Hyyystaa what happened to his ship and where it was. The Draake responded "IIIts beeeiing reepaiired outsiidee thiis meediiiciinal ceenteer. Wee havee reeplaceed thee reeeactors. Theey aree opeereatiional. How eeveer wee found somethiiing veery odd about your shiip. The datee on thee shiip…" The huge Draake paused for a few min then he continued "IIIs seet to Galaxy Standard Datee 8/11/11749." He continued, "Thiis iis iin eerror" Kraal responded quickly "No I know I was the one who set the clock, and it is correct!" The Draake paused for a few moment then he responded curtly "You aree iin eerror iit iis Galaxy Standard Datee 3/18/5019" With that the Draake walked off.
Krrista Sommtaw was feeling very tired from discussing what the Bensusi had said about the prophecy. She had recorded the message then forwarded it to Sommtaw's command via hyperspace and a respond shortly followed. "This is Sommtaw's command. We thanks you for sending the recording so quickly, but we have a request for you. You are to track down a Bensusi ship and attecept to get the Bensusi to reveal more information on the subject. We suspect that even the Bensusi don't have a drive like THAT thing… however we suspect they could construct one fairly fast if they wished to. You are to find more information on this topic and if they're constructing a drive like that thing, you are also ordered to capture the drive unit and bring it back to a certain point we will assign you once you have the drive unit. There at the point will be a full carrier force, along with several supercaptal ships, including the newest command vessel loaded with twin siege cannons." Krrista whistled at the fleet that was being assembled but she was not happy with her assignment, it was not wise to make the unbound angry. While the Bensusi might not be the most powerful unbound, they still were unbound. Appear things were getting very hot hot between Hiigara and the Sommtaw's command. The relationship had gone down the tube, but it was not quite bad enough that there was open warfare but the tension levels has shot up.
Kraal woke up again and found himself in the same room again, he thought about the date and wondered if these guys really was telling the truth or their clock really was off that bad. Normally when you travel, thought hyperspace there is little variation in the time when u exit hyperspace due to some side effect of the hyperdrive. But he thought geez six thousand years off that's unheard of. Suddenly he thought perhaps we could contact the Bensusi and get some information on this area that we are, and information on the current events. He saw a Draake walk by so he got up and off the bed. Then he went right out the door and nearly ran into a massive Draake, the Draake glared down at him and growled, Kraal scrambled to get out of his way, then he continued on his search for the captain or some officers of this ship… Suddenly Kraal felt heavier, so he stepped backward and suddenly he felt normal weight, hmm he thought they must like gravity higher than standard. Then Kraal saw a Draake with a tattoo on his ear that indicated that it was a sub-captain, and beside him was another massive Draake with the commander tattoo on his ear. Kraal waved and the two Draake glared at him then one of them ordered him to follow them somewhere.
Kraal followed the twin Draake into another room that appearly was one of the planning room aboard the ship. Suddenly Kraal thought ship? It seemed to be too big to be a ship but he could feel the soft and barely detectable rumble of an engine. The two Draake turned around after finishing a small talk over something, both of them appeared to have a look of concern on their face, but then again its next to impossible to read alien's face. Kraal spoke up "I would like to contact the Bensusi over some matters that concerns me and my ship." With no warning the two Draake looked at each other and one waved with one paw that the other should follow. They walked right out of the room and Kraal started to follow, but when the Draake noticed him following, he stopped Kraal with a growl and a glare. When both of the Draake were outside of the room they slammed the door shut then Kraal could hear some loud scream and screeching and bellowing as from what he could figure the two, Draake was arguing over something.
Krrista Sommtaw was sitting in her captain chair, messing around with her fingernails while she was waiting for Sommtaw's Dream to exit hyperspace. One of the officer injected "Fifteen min left before we exit hyperspace." Krrista tried to stiff a yawn; she had been awakening for nearly thirty hours working on some projects of her own. She closed her eyes to doze off for a while, when she woke back up, she gasped, the ship was all gone, everything was gone, even the seat she was sitting in was gone, she flung her arm a bit and felt herself rotating a bit… She was in zero gravity. Krrista then looked around and couldn't spot any familiar star or pattern of stars at all, it was an utterly alien sky, and to one side was a massive reddish and bluish nebula that filled nearly half the sky. The color in the nebula wasn't very smooth it was almost very chaotically. Suddenly she had a powerful urge to breathe in, at this point she recolized that she had been holding her breath. She tried to hold it as long as possible until she finally gave up and breathed in and out, and was shocked to find that she could breath.
Suddenly the hair rose on her neck and she reached up as she turned around and dropped her hand when she saw what was behind her, she gaped in aware. It is so beauful she thought. Before her was an extraordary beauful planet, toward the eastern side of the globe was a massive ocean that stretched from one side to the other side of the planet, it was a beauful blue color. Krrista suddenly had a pang of homesickness; this was too close to her home Hiigara… Smack right in the middle of a nearly flawless blue ocean was a massive concent; Golden savannah covered most of the concent, with a smashing of green there and there. Toward the north pole she could see massive mountain ranges covered with lustrous green forest, all the way up from the plans to the very bounds of the timberline was an smashing color of green, multiple color, Dark green over there, lighter green over here. Right down one of the mountain was a massive valley with a swift flowing river. Krrista followed the thin blue line all the way from the mountains down to the gentle savannah that was scattered over the concent, all the way to the ocean. It was dawn on the planet; one of the systems Triad star was rising over the horizon of the planet. Krrista could clearly see the thin blue haze that was the planet's astrosphere. Sunlight raced over the blue ocean to meet the mountain ranges, then it begun to rise and suddenly several peaks sparked almost like if they were made of diamond. Suddenly there was a second dawn as the system's second sun rose over the horizon, this one sun was much more distant than the first one, so distant that you could cover the disc of the sun with your finger. Both of the sun gemmed in the sky like yellow diamonds. "Beauful isn't it? Beauful but dangerous." A soft voice whispered over her shoulder. Krrista gasped and jerked her head in the direction of the voice. "Who are you!" The voice coming from everywhere bellowed laughter. Suddenly a second voice cutoff the laughter of the first one and whispered "You're probably wondering why we bought you here. And what the purpose was."
Suddenly a thousand-voice cut in and they all sang
"We are the one of a Thousand Voices."
"Others have called us by many names."
"We are the ones your ancestors called the Angels from the Abyss."
"The Council called us the Forbidden, for we dared touch the tapestry of destiny."
"We are Tiamat."
"We are Destruction, and we are Rebirth."
"We are the Determination of Destiny."
"We are the Wheel of Fate."
After what seemed to be an eternity one of the Draake reentered the room, appear the victor of the battle. He glared at Kraal then said "You maay contaaact theee Beensusiii." With that, the Draake stormed right out of the room. Kraal was puzzled by their reaction to his request to contact the Bensusi; perhaps the Bensusi could clear this up with him along with this date thing and others.
