Chapter 7

After the arrival of the Kadeshi the battle took a major turn in our favor. Raala launched several squadrons of Swarmers, as well as their 'cousins', the Advanced Swarmers. Raala also brought a hunter fleet of Multi-Beam Frigates. This battle is set-match-and won! It only took another 45 minutes to take-out all remaining forces. When all has quieted down the Kadesh packed up their Swarmers, and the majestic aqua blues of hyperspace swallowed all all Multi-Beam Frigates and Raala, as they formed up on her.

Fortunately for us an elite squadron of Turanic Raider Missile Corvettes defected to us. They apparently chose to join us because a few months before, the Tiiadani commanded the Turanic Raiders, to destroy a medical convoy enroute from an independent world just within, what the Tiiadani consider, their space, to a planet that recently suffered from a severe meteor storm and was basically blown back to the Stone-Age.

Thanks to our new Requiem Squadron we now have fairly undated information on the Turanic Raider fleets. We ended up salvaging the shipyards. We called in the HFA's hyperspace tugs to bring the modules back to Hiigara. This should really help us build up our fleets, in more ways than one. Before the Imperialist Tiiadan/Turanic Raider fleet showed up one of our Ion Frigates blew off the station's Comm. Array, and punched a big hole in the Command Module, killing a bunch of technical personnel before they could purged the computer systems, and wiping Tiiadani ship specs from the memory. In short… we now have a shipyard that can build Kushan vessels, as well as Tiiadani class vessels.
