Chapter 8

After 5 months of 'seek and destroy' the crews onboard the Khar-Toba II, Kharak's Revenge, Blue Nebula, and the rest of the fleet got a month and a half of leave on Hiigara's natural satellite, Angel Moon, while their warships are being repaired, and reloaded. We needed every last second for rest and relaxation. I'm sure most of the pilots and crewmen will spend the time either sleeping/talking with family, or in the casinos wasting their time, and money trying to get even richer, though I would believe most would go for the sleep.

During those 5 months in active duty, mainly the 3 days we spent fighting in the Super Nova, we lost 4 Interceptors, 2 Multi-Gun Corvettes, and 3 Heavy Corvettes, and 4 Kadeshi Swarmers. Along with the pilot casualties, there were 300 crewmen that died on the battle ships due to flying shrapnel, munitions discharges, or hull breaches. We will remember those brave souls in our memories for all eternity preserving countless lives.

With every battle won, with every mistake a lesson learned, the Hiigarain Fleet Command comes one step closer to restoring peace to the galaxy. With our allies, the Bentusi, the Kadeshi, and the Tiiadani Republic, we will prevail. Maybe even one day unite the Tiiadani Republic, and the Imperialist Tiiadan and bring together a galaxy that has lived in fear for centuries. That is what we all fight for, and what some of us die for. But with every passing day we come a little bit closer.
